“Big house Little house”
The pro porter company responded promptly to our enquiry, and the representative who visited our home was very helpful. The quote compared well with other local companies (two companies who had said they could do our move let us down), and they delivered as promised. The removal team were extremely fast, efficient and courteous, working hard in torrential rain and doing all they could to fit our 4 bed/cellar /3 reception into a small new build. They were very willing to relocate any item. An excellent service which we have already recommended to friends.

We didn’t know for certain until the Thursday morning whether we were going to be moving on the Friday. Called them to confirm on Thursday morning and the packers turned up about an hour and a half later. Very efficient packing, friendly team and professionally moved. Our belongings were stored for a week and than delivered to our new home! Thanks Pro-porters for taking a huge amount of stress out of our move!!

“The packing was fast and efficient”
Surveyor didn't arrive the day and time expected; the quotation was provided after we provided an inventory. However, the removal men were very efficient, packed and moved everything promptly. Unfortunately they also packed the contents of the fridge in a box marked "kitchen" which was only found a few days later. Overall it was acceptable.

What is your top advice for your customers?
Grab your self a over night bag with all essential (i.e car keys, passports/licenses, medication, any paperwork needed for the week and anything of importance) and keep it somewhere safe to ensure it doesn't get packed away. Label all boxes where you would like them to end up, if your packing yourself that is. It's easy for furniture assembly nuts and bolts to go missing. Put them in self-seal bags and tape to the appropriate piece of furniture for safe keeping.
