FA Removals

This was a short notice move. The guys arrived promptly within an hour and efficiently removed the contents of a 5bed house and garden into vans. They arrived at the new property early. The only faults I could find are that some items were water damaged (sofa and some clothes and boxes) from run off from the fridge pipe, and some items are missing (one of a matching pair of bedside cabinets and a large box of greenhouse staging). Also the van cracked the concrete drive. Other than a same day call for payment there has been no follow up contact.

Late for hrs, driver tried to hit on my gf

I booked F A Removals for my move on the basis that they promised an expert service that they were there to take away the stress from moving and that they had an expert team who would disassemble and reassemble my furniture. Sad to say all lies. Was promised 2 x 7.5 tonne trucks with employed staff for my move this did not happen. Got 3 smaller trucks that all arrived late and staff were not employed by F A Removals (none of this was communicated to myself, the client). No care or attention was taken with my furniture especially items I had specifically ear marked as precious and extra care needed. Example a Piano which I stressed was of value and importance. Was taken out of my house left in my drive in the hot sun for over an hour before being loaded onto their truck. The piano was clean and in pristine condition. It arrived at my new property with so much dirt. I was so sad. My wardrobes have been reassembled incomplete and unsafe, I cannot use them and no resolution with company.

In difficult circumstances the movers were great, considerate and efficient. Set up was efficient, payment demands were impatient which spoiled what was a very good service

Very helpful guys, punctual and careful in handling

Phoned up 30mins before they were due to arrive saying the 'gear box had broken'. Had to cancel as we were limited on time. Found a much better removals firm elsewhere

We had three guys and a Luton van and the guys worked incredibly hard and did two trips in the van. They worked a 12 hour day and did a great job.

Pretty basic move.bTwo guys showed up, loaded my stuff and unpacked it the other end. They worked very hard and nothing got broken. Pickfords wanted 2-3x the cost so can’t fault value for money. Would have been easier if they had better English speaking skills; and why I haven't given them 10/10. But for the money, would use again.

Movers arrived around two hours late, we were warned over the phone an hour before they were due to arrive but this did inconvenience us. I was happy with the movers themselves, but the customer service office on the phone was quite rude at times and unreliable as they continuously got important details of the move wrong, which added stress, and failed to deliver on promises to update things so I had to keep calling them. The price was affordable but I wouldn't trust them again.
