About the company
Welcome to West Country Movers, we are a family run business which has been providing house removal services to the south west for the last 5 years, our aim is to provide the very best service at reasonable prices, we currently have a fleet of 12 vehicles to provide you the flexibility with the ever changing moving date.
Project images
We have 100 container crates they are 250 cubic foot in size, we offer these at £10 per crate per week, we can offer discount for long term storage.

Whole process from the first viewing of the furniture in the old house (without charge) to our move on two days - first day to the storage with 2 helpers and 1 van, the next day to the new house with 4 people and 3 vans - was fast, professional and the staff was good-humoured. Email communication could have been a bit better, but they replied quickly to our inititial inquiry via Getamover.

I was very pleased with my move. Ricky, Ross and the team worked extremely hard, were careful and very quick. Everything was done with courtesy and a smile. Nothing was too much trouble, even when the job probably turned out to be bigger and more complicated than anticipated. Great job and I would highly recommend.

Information provided by us was not shared internally? Movers expected a bungalow and were suprised to find a three storey upside down house. Even though this detail had been shared at the start. Movers then moaned and were less careful with the furniture taking their frustration out and breaking a few items!

“Good, if rushed”
Good, a little rushed. Some stuff left behind in the rush, but nothing too major. Good service at a competitive price, with a friendly removal person.

What is your top advice for your customers?
To try and give as much notice to the mover as possible and to always get a removal survey to ensure everyone is clear to the job at hand, on our surveys we will give you your very own moving pack with lots of advise.
