The team were overall fantastic, they worked hard to achieve this and I am grateful for all the efforts of the Homemoovers team. There were some challenges as with any move and the cubic space quoted wasn’t sufficient, therefore not all my items were able to be moved.

There were one or two problems with the move but the company sorted them out and I was very pleased with the service.

I requested an 11am start. Initially I was told I would get a call with an ETA at 10am which didn’t happen. Still waiting for the van at 11.40 when I got a call that the van had a flat tire and was awaiting AA. They finally arrived around 2.15pm! The 3 guys who actually did the removal were very polite,helpful and efficient however. Just being no kept updated would have made the day a lot less stressful

Had to pay additional £250 because they couldn’t fit everything on lorry even though site survey was carried out and item left on lorry. Upon making a complaint, I was told that normally a pre-check would be completed by their operations manager to prevent any issues on removal day and that they provided requirements based on my recommendation quote (produced by Michael who had visited and seen everything). A requirement for a pre-check had never been mentioned. 
It is not, in my opinion, satisfactory that a second person is required to attend in order to get an accurate quote and the correct size vehicle for a move.
It is also not satisfactory that the lorry wasn’t checked properly to ensure all items had been unloaded and more so that Darrol didn’t bother to let us know as soon as he found the plinths which took a further 24hours and several phone calls to get them returned. I totally regret not going with my preferred removals 
company but lesson learned, I won’t be using again.
