“Spot on service - cannot fault.”
Used European Removal Services for a move to Europe. Cannot fault the whole service and would highly recommend. Wayne and Neil were always on hand to reply to questions on the phone or by email and Ian picked up and delivered exactly as proposed.
“Good service, poor communication”
Wayne was absolutely brilliant and helped me get a better understanding of the overall process, which really put me at ease. Other parts of the company were, in this case, sorely lacking in communications though. They were all polite and friendly, but some didn't speak any English (or Dutch or German) and those who did seemed to not listen on several occasions. I was told to text a number at a specific time then recieved no response when I did so, I'd recieve one-liners or irrelevant text in response to emails, and Chinese whispers seemed to come into play with my items being delivered earlier than I had requested, before I had moved in. Beyond the poor communication everything was good though, a quality service with nothing damaged or stolen.

Hello Thomas and thanks for your comments. I am unsure who you mean by didn't speak any English, as I am from Liverpool and emailed with collection updates on 4 occassions. We booked collection 11th to 15th and we settled on loading 14/15th. In terms of delivery, we quoted for a part load groupage service for 7 boxes. With this service we do stress that flexibility is required, so that we can put a few jobs on one van. The driver booked ahead for drop off on the 19th and the drop was at 10am on the 19th. You were not there and goods were left at the reception, as agreed with you. Whilst we do try and meet all days and times that clients' require, we do need drop dates to be flexible so we can try and hit the correct days for all clients on a part loaded van. I don't know who you mean by speaks no English as the driver speaks perfect English and it was he that advised by text that drop off would be 19th. Sorry if the communication became confusing. “super smooth organisation”
My move felt stressful due to the timing of me starting my new job in Germany and that I also had to move furniture from my mum's place in the south 600km to the north of Germany, etc. I understand European Removals must organise 100s of moves daily, so surely challenging logistics to get all timings right. I had a one week slot for collection and a one week slot for delivery. During the week I felt like I had to chase for the exact date, but Neil Lloyd was absolutely amazing & had everything planned and under control. Collected and arrived on time. Also George who collected my stuff in London was gentle and very careful with my belongings and could be sure all was in good hands. The man who delivered in Germany didn't speak any English or German, but was also very friendly and professional. I would 100% recommend the company.

Start planning your move as early as possible. International removals often require more preparation than a UK move, particularly if customs documentation is needed. Create a detailed inventory, decide which items you no longer need and discuss your requirements with your removal company well in advance.
