About the company

We are based near Colchester and Clacton on sea but work all over the UK, we have been in the industry since 2014. We provide high quality services at affordable prices to all. We are proficient in all aspects of moving from packing to storage needs, local to long distance, small teams and vehicles to large teams and HGV's. We are licensed waste carriers and complete house clearances and waste removal services too.

How did you start your business?

I started out in removals in 2014 and grew a removals company which I sold in 2022, due to the economic downturn customers were looking for something more cost effective and TAXI VAN was born from this; we have all the experience and skill but at affordable prices that were not sustainable running a larger business.

What makes your services standout?

We care, as a small company I am generally with the team on the move and complete all the man and van work myself so it is more than just a job it is a passion. We work with other chosen companies who share our ethos so when we are booked we can offer our customers a trusted alternate company.

What is your top advice for your customers?

Be organised and prepared! Know and talk to your mover before the move and understand what they are doing and what you need to do depending on the level of service you have paid for and chosen, remember everything is being taken out of your home, moved and unloaded, this requires skill and knowledge but organisation! Or opt for a full service where we also pack for you and you can sit back and relax.
