“Out of order”
After a agreement on the price, the day and time was arranged. I never heard from him again, although I continued messaging him. Half an hr before he was due to arrive, I got a strange phone call. He had handed the move over to another firm, who I'd never heard of before. My house was packed up. It was 7 hours before they showed up. Freezer defrosted over £100 of food wasted. I got charged double. They knew I had to accept the job. I live alone, I have a disability and serious health issues. It was a very stressful and upsetting experience. I never heard from this original firm. No apology or to ask how the move went.

If you haven’t chosen optional packing services, make sure everything is securely packed to avoid damage. Confirm your moving day details with the company ahead of time.
