How did you start your business?
Mew the Movers was started by Albert Mew around 1925 he would deliver furniture, parcels and coal to customers in a Model T Ford Truck around the Ventnor and Chale Area of the island. His son Robin joined the business later and worked with his father and eventually taking over in the 1960s. Norma and John Atkins joined the business and worked with Rob Mew and took the business over in 2003, Norma comes from an established island family who have been running a Removals business since the 1800s.
