“Disappointed”
Removal lads couldn’t be faulted, but having quoted a reasonable price initially , because we had to wait to complete , I had a phone call when I was just collecting the keys telling me as the lads had to wait I would have to pay another £400 immediately or he would tell the lads not to unload -also I have found damage on my furniture . I have emailed Jo clear about this but have had no reply

Dear Hazel I am very sorry you feel we did not give you good value on your removal. Lads had to wait 5 hours for you to get keys which meant they did not get back until 9pm that night, therefore £400 was reasonable for 5 men out until that time, I have not received any emails and you have not contacted the office about any damage. It is standard practice in the removal industry to charge waiting time which in turn leads to overtime. It is a shame you could not have spoken to us instead of writing this review Kind regards Jo Upton-Clear
“Friendly and hassle free”
A nice, friendly and helpful experience with Jo Upton Removals. Phil was very accommodating to our needs with moving our elderly parents to a different city. They were flexible and adaptable with the short notice of the move date and everything went without a hitch. Great communication with quick responses to all our emailed questions. Highly recommend.
