Mr Bee Removals

Office staff - one was extremely helpful/friendly/kind, the other was curt and defensive at all times. Moving staff - friendly, helpful and flexible. The two people who came to my flat did not appear to be particularly experienced packers, but broadly they did a good job. One major issue: at 9am the day of removal, the defensive office person rang me to say the movers were on their way but unfortunately the company who provided their bubble wrap had not delivered anything that day ... so please could I buy one? I asked about other options: no, the movers could not buy it from a shop on the way; and no, I could not place an order at a shop along their route for them to collect. In effect, either I somehow acquired a roll or the packing wasn't going to happen. It was sheer fluke that I found somewhere nearby that sold this product. The movers were able to pack; but it still rankles that I was expected to magically acquire a bulky and costly item at two hours' notice.

We just needed a small amount of stuff moved to a lock up. Mr Bees was reasonably priced, reliable, really looked after our stuff ( including a large mirror) and a very polite man. Would highly recommend.

Wunmi the organiser of the move company is completely terrible and owes us a refund which he's been claiming he's been trying to sort out for over a month. Thankfully the person who was freelance working for Wunmi was brilliant and an excellent mover, but do not use Wunmi, do extra digging because you will be waiting for money back for a very long time. Very disappointed. I've given him a month to sort it but now I've had to go this route.

Mr Bee Removals had great customer service talking me through the options so I got the one for me and didn't make too much fuss when we changed the plan after the first chat. The movers on the day were great and very efficient both packing up and unloading and patient.

One of the two movers wasn't as fit as I would have expected pausing a lot, (despite me staying out was a third floor flat when asking for quotation). The main person in charge was very efficient, friendly and helpful though.

Terrible service, terrible customer service - especially from the manager, I don't know his name, but he definitely will run the company down with his attitude. I booked the service for 8:00 AM 30th July 2026 and paid the requested deposit. He called me the day before to confirm that we're all green for the move the next day. At 8:00 AM on the day of the move, the driving of the moving van calls to say the van has mechanical issues and there will be a delay of about 4 hours. I called the office to investigate and all I got was harassment, condescending and demeaning insinuations from the manager. The entire story is too long to narrate here, and I am not going to bother you with the details. I had to cancel and resorted he only good thing about the Mr Bee is 1. You are lucky if Femi (with CS) looks after you through the txn. 2. If it goes south, you'll get your refund (I hope, as I got mine). Best wishes
