Reviews
“Great”
Fantastic service, communication and price. We hired the two man and van and the men that came were amazing, polite ( asked if shoes off etc) helpful, quick. We were very impressed and totally recommend
“Efficient job”
The driver was on time and very attentive. My furniture was duly protected and drove the van smoothly. Recommend.
“Perfect Guys For The Job!”
Tomas & Kili were amazing removal men. They arrived on time and got stuck in straight away. We were on the 3rd floor and the lift had not been working for about 5 days. It was repaired late on the previous afternoon therefore we were well behind on the packing and had not been able to take a lot of the boxes to the new house ourselves as planned. But Tomas & Kili were quite happy to do two trips and move everything we asked of them. We could not have been more pleased with their work and would definitely recommend them to anyone planning a move.
“Quick service”
The service provided was good, the movers were fast. It was £85/h, minim three hours. Not sure why it was a minimum of three hours, it took under 2 hours. On top of this, ULEZ charges. Three hours should cover ULEZ, especially if it doesn’t take that long. The one thing I didn’t like was the fact they “overstayed their visit”. I (female) moved by myself from one shared house to another one. It was a weekday, everybody I know was working and couldn’t be around to help, which is why I went for a moving company. The two movers were male, and once the job was done, they didn’t leave the house until someone from the admin team confirmed I had paid the full amount of the job. This was uncomfortable, they needn’t be around for this. What would’ve happened if for whatever reason payment hadn’t gone through? Would they have stayed in my house with me until it had? Very sketchy system, would not use them again unless confirmation of a different practice.
“Bad service”
The movers that came couldn’t do the work giving the stuffs for myself and husband to carry. Customer service is so bad and poor manager speaking rudely manager told the movers to leave when they are yet to finish their job If I had known they wouldn’t do the job I wouldn’t have booked 4 hours They used 2 hours and I paid for 4hours Waste of money
Reply from Mr Bee Removals
We did your move safely without any damage. You were not willing to pay the minimum of 4 hours because the move was done in 3hrs. 1. You refused to pay the men and we asked them to leave. 2. We sent you an email to say we will take you to small claims court, and this was when you decided to pay. 3. The manager was firm with you about the payment not rude, yet you refused to pay until you got the email for court action. 4. We are happy that we carried our move professionally and carefully.
“Really good”
Really good experience, helpful service from start to finish. Nice guys who arrived on time, very efficient and dismantled and reassembled our furniture. Would definitely use again and recommend to others. Good value for money
“Never again”
They were three hours late and rude. I felt like I was working for them. There was communication breakdown between the person called Mr Bee and the removals guys causing misunderstanding. My stuff was eventually taken to where it was supposed to go successfully but it took 7 hours when I had accounted for around 4. I have a one bed flat and was charged £650. I'd also left them a £20 tip before finding out the final invoice amount, which I later regretted, not least because they'd smashed the screen of my TV, which had been wrapped in several layers of bubble wrap. Also I'd left some beers, some snacks and water. Despite that they helped themselves to further contents of my fridge without permission. The gentleman called me to make payment after the job was complete and sounded quite irritable. He demanded immediate payment and seemed to have forgotten that I'd already paid deposit. They broke my TV. 'Mr Bee' refused to provide insurance info' and was just totally belligerent and rude.
“Effective and good”
It was good and with them
“Good move”
Good experience but in a bit of a hurry
“Not great”
Not great. They arrived on time, but of the two movers who came, the younger one did most of the work, so a van load of ready packed boxes took 5 hours rather than the expected 3 hours. The older man was on his phone to his wife a lot of the time and when he carried a small table inside carelessly, he bashed paint off both sides of the doorway and scratched the floor. He also leered at my daughter and made inappropriate remarks. I wouldn’t recommend.
