“Terrible experience with AnyVan”
They charged me with £191 for certain items, and later on they changed the list based on their price range. And if you tried to add the items you sent for them earlier they’ll charge you more. They use third party services to do their work. The driver they hired arrived one and half hour earlier than the time range they specified in their message, he kept me in a rush because he had to other deliveries to do, and every time I’m telling him to go for other deliveries first he refused because it’ll be easier for him and he didn’t care about my stuff. I had a couple of items to pack, and if he didn’t arrive early I’d have done it. The driver refused to load the items even when I showed him the list I sent to AnyVan because he had a different list. When I called AnyVan customer service, they told me to let him go and to go to the destination to collect my stuff from him and they’ll book another van on the same day for me with extra money, which they didn’t and asked for a new booking.

Nice people, easy to move with them, straight forwards, good price and you can track the van which was helpful as we were travelling down at the same time.

I got the call from two companies i chose anyvan by comparing rates. I didnt lift a single thing. They carried all my stuffs. Just be mindful of the floors you booked they will ask additional charge for that

So many things went wrong. First they booked the wrong day and tried to blame me (said I would have to pay around £150 to put it right but then realised it was their mistake. They then sent a van that was far too small to accommodate the items I wanted moving and so they had to make two trips which doubled my time. They then refused to take the items up to the flat (even though there was a lift) saying that I had not informed them that they needed to do so (I did). To add insult to injury, they tried to trick me into paying another £24 stating that there were items that had not been included. Needless to say, I didn't pay it. I couldn't get through to their office, it just rang and then this awful music just went on and on. I do not recommend.

What is your top advice for your customers?
Get organised early. Even if you don't know your move date, AnyVan will allow you to provisionally secure a removals team free-of-charge so you have peace of mind that when you've got a date, you're all sorted!
