About the company
We are based in Twickenham and specialise in domestic and office moves in the Southwest London area. Storage is available upon request. We also move single items and pianos. Our team of removal experts have been taking care of domestic removals for many years. Always delivering your items safely and efficiently, we take care of the whole moving process for you so that you don’t have to worry.

The Removal van arrived promptly The goods that required move was a very short distance (20min journey); hence i cannot judge accurately the value of money. Other companies were charging a comparable rate. I can only assume the charge was a minimum rate. There is some flexibility with quantity of goods to be moved with a +- tolerance. Ian the owner comes across as a Gentleman on the phone and in person, his partner (may vary per job) had quite a sharp tongue causing an unpleasant experience (Perhaps its a Good cop/Bad Cop dealing with clients.....) At the end of the day, items were moved undamaged. Would I contact FiveStarRemovals again = Yes.

How did you start your business?
The business was started in 1987,after gaining experience working for friends,i took redundancy from my job in engineering, and set up Five Star Removals. I also undertook various college courses to improve my knowledge about running a small business.
What makes your services standout?
We have always emphasized that we are big enough to cope, and small enough to care. As the business is mine i work on the job from start to finish, with my team of workers, therefore maintaining a good relationship with customer at all times,this helps keep them informed of the progress of the job and helps us adjust to the customers needs. We have vehicles to cope with moving small loads or single items,to moving larger 2,3,4,5 (upwards) bedroom houses, including any packing required.
What is your top advice for your customers?
My advice for customers is to be as accurate as possible with the information sent to us this helps us, give you (the customer) a better idea of the cost.If there are only a few items let us know! We offer a comprehensive removal service covering small to large jobs, we have over 30yrs experience in the removal industry.
