How did you start your business?

Abels were an auctioneer business and were often asked if we could perform collections / deliveries, so a first vehicle was purchased. We then started being asked if we could assist with customers who were moving home and our journey in moving began.

What makes your services standout?

Our attention to detail. Support in the office throughout your move. Full training to all employees in a bespoke "house" that we had built within our warehouse, ensuring we train on our possessions, not yours! Accreditation to ISO standards including Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety and FIDI-Faim which are all regularly audited by independent auditors.

What is your top advice for your customers?

Plan early, so that you can budget correctly. Do your research to find good quality moving companies that do not subcontract, guarantee that they have security checked their employees (as you need to trust them in your home around your family and possessions!) and are backed by a trade association which protect your payment of your move should the company fold.
