“moving from the UK to France”
The communication between office staff and myself prior to the collection and prior the actual move abroad was very good I would have given them an excellent rating for customer service at this stage. However, when the items were delivered a couple of things had been damaged. As everything was insured I lodged a claim through the office staff within the required week with their insurance claims department. I had not heard anything from the claims department, not even an acknowledgment, by the 1st of April, so I send a text asking for a response. Today, 8th of April I'm still waiting for an acknowledgement of my claim. I am disappointed how this claim is being handled.

“Avoid- Terrible Experience”
Where to begin. The make the quote they requested square metres, which we gave, what they really wanted was weight, so they quote they gave was wrong for our amount of stuff. On collection day 2 people arrived without a mask and entered the property to see what we needed to move. They were an hour and a half out of the time range they provided. They didn't seem very strong so my husband had to carry half of our stuff to the van to expedite the process (they were very late and we had other preparations to make for the move and a vet appointment). So they weighted everything unsupervised (have no clue if the weighting was done properly or not) and wrote it down on a piece of paper, didn't even leave us a copy, had to request a digital one. We insured three items as these were of value. Of course they managed to damage one of the insured items and then wanted to give us the penalty £40 for damaging an item instead of the £1000 insurance value. They didn't pay.

1. Our offer based on the volume/weight and all your contents was weighted in front of you as we always do. Therefore, your statement is a false statement. 2. Our teams always use PPE and was at your property on time as agreed. Therefore, this statement is also a false statement. 3. Our porters and drivers are professionals and of course they are fit for this job so the statement “didn't seem very strong” is false again. 4. The copy of inventory list with the volume and weight information was provided to you in paper to sign and copy of it was emailed to you as a part of procedure. False statement again. 5. As to the damage so the item which was scratched is a “guitar case” and it was not included in the list you provided prior to the move to apply our Standard Liability Insurance. Hard to understand where this £1000 came from so for this scratch according to our T&C`s we offered £40.00 to resolve this issue.
