About the company

Calmer Moves is a company that actually does care and we really do love what we do. We know that this shows in our work from when we first meet to view your property to when we leave you with all your belongings in your new home. The directors will be the people you will meet and who will be moving you. We are all friends, are all friendly and like to think that each person we help move becomes a friend too! 30, 20 and 12 years of moving experience between us. You're in safe hands.

How did you start your business?

We are 3 friends who all ran our own removals services for years, enjoyed the work and each other's company and decided to combine forces and work together. It was a great decision as we all get along, all enjoy the work and we pass this enthusiasm and cheerfulness onto our customers - hence our name!

What makes your services standout?

Service; you ask and we'll do it. Price; always competitive and if we're not, tell us. Attitude; we enjoy our work, we are good at it and we hope this shows. Efficiency; we like to over-deliver on promises made so we always work carefully and as fast as is possible so as to get you relocated in as little time and with as little fuss as possible. We love seeing the lifting of worry from our customer's shoulders!

What is your top advice for your customers?

Pack things well in advance and put as many things into taped-up boxes as possible. Carrier bags, bin bags etc are prone to spilling, contents breaking, they don't stack and may mean an increased quote as we may need to make an extra journey.
